Medical Tax Credits for Your Child’s Tuition at Edmonton Academy

Out-of-pocket tuition costs for parents of students may be eligible to be claimed as medical expenses for taxation purposes. We provide official tax receipts to the parents of our students.

Edmonton Academy provides an official tax receipt to parents in February for tuition paid in the previous calendar year. Parents are required to retain a copy of their child’s diagnostic information (eg. psycho-educational assessment) as back up for their medical tax credit claim. 

Although some parents have been successful in accessing medical tax credits through this procedure, we do not guarantee success. Please contact your tax advisor for clarification.
